L’essai analyse le droit de l’enfant à l’apparence physique à la lumière du débat juridico-politique actuel lié également à la récente loi sur l’image du 19 février 2024. Il examine plus particulièrement les pouvoirs des parents dans ce domaine ainsi que la sphère d’autodétermination de l’enfant et ses limites.

The essay analyses the child’s right to physical appearance in the light of the current legal-political debate also linked to the recent image law of 19 February 2024.The powers of parents in this area and their limits, as well as the child’s sphere of self-determination and its limits are examined in particular.
