Le droit français reconnaît au mineur une certaine forme d’autodétermination s’agissant des décisions le concernant : il peut y participer, notamment en étant entendu par le juge, ou décider de lui-même de faire certains actes. Son autonomie décisionnelle devrait être renforcée afin d’assurer la protection de ses intérêts.

Abstract [Eng]

French law recognises that children have a certain degree of self-determination when it comes to decisions concerning them: they can take a part in it, in particular by being heard by the judge, or decide on their own. Their decision-making autonomy should be strengthened to ensure that their interests are protected.
